Resistance of frame polymer concrete to low-cycle loading

چکیده

Low-cycle fatigue is the ability of a material or structure to resist cyclic loads in range 0–105 cycles. are sometimes referred as repeated. Little work has been devoted low-cycle polymer composite materials (PCM). Studies were carried out by A.I. Chebanenko, B.A. Bondarev, Bondareva A.B. Besides them, works Chernousov R.N., Nemtsev V.A., Biryukov K.S. known. Much more publications and research static composites. Almost all well-known concrete researchers began with studies their strength under various types loading, including long-term static. Thus, analyzing previous experience studying resistance materials, we can draw following conclusions: • PCM most studied; quite lot high-cycle concrete; not studied enough; physical practically there no complexity issues fatigue. relevance this beyond doubt, presented make it possible fill missing knowledge on frame composites loading. In course study, equations for concretes obtained. Also, values reliability coefficients based furfural-acetone monomer, manufactured using technology, determined. The analysis data obtained clearly showed possibility structures subjected

Effects of Using Multilayers of High Resistance AFRP on Loading Capacity of Reinforced Concrete Beams in Comparison with Low Resistance AFRP Considering EBROG Method

Externally Bonded Reinforcement on Grooves (EBROG) is a new method that has been introduced to postpone or eliminate debonding of FRP sheets from concrete surface in concrete beams strengthened for flexure and increase loading capacity. For strengthening reinforced conceret beams in strructure, use of different types of FRP like: laminate, AFRP, CFRP, and GFRP. By there is some differences bet...

Low Cycle Fatigue Behavior of Concrete with Recycled Concrete Aggregates

A comparison of concrete containing recycled concrete coarse aggregates and natural coarse aggregates subjected to high strain, low cycle compressive fatigue is presented. Using a strain based feedback control loop, concrete cylinders are compressed at 15µε/s to a specified strain then unloaded to zero stress for 10 cycles. After cycling, all samples are loaded to a strain of 0.008. Direct conc...

Flexural Behavior of Polyester Polymer Concrete Subjected to Different Chemicals

Polymer concrete (PC) is a composite material prepared by resin and aggregates. Advantages of polymer concretes include rapid curing at ambient temperatures, high flexural and compressive strengths, excellent chemical resistance and low permeability. In this research, a comparative study was performed on degradation of polyester resin concrete in different chemical solutions. Polymer concrete s...

Health Monitoring for Composite under Low-Cycle Cyclic Loading, Considering Effects of Acoustic Emission Sensor Type

Composites have been widely used in the aerospace industry. Due to the requirement of a high safety for such structures, they could be considered for health monitoring. The acoustic emission approach is one of most effective methods for identifying damages in composites. In this article, standard specimens were made from carbon fibers and the epoxy resin, with the [03/902/...

Concrete Filled Tubular Bracing Subjected to Cyclic Loading

The energy absorption of concrete filled, hollow-steel bracing was analyzed respect to geometric and mechanical parameters including the width-to-thickness section ratio, slenderness level, and strength of the steel and concrete. Local buckling and ductility were also investigated with respect to variation in the cross-section. The infill increased the compression resistance, even after multipl...
